Clik here to view.Thank God it’s Friday. NBA Friday. We’ve got 10 games going and I’ve got what you need to build your bankroll tonight so that you’ll be able to invest that much more into your NFL weekend. Many good match-ups today although I’ll be watching to see if the Knicks can defend their almost flawless 12 -1 record at home when they’ll meet up with the Bulls later tonight. Overall a ton of value for your daily plays today. Let’s take a look at your choices for tonight. Here’s some of the players I’ll add to my Draft$treet roster for Friday night’s Freeroll.
***FRIDAY NIGHT FREEROLL ALERT!!!***
Jordan Crawford PG Washington Wizards ($11,654) Crawford redeemed himself the other night while playing Atlanta immediately following what was one of his worst performances this year to date. Jordan saw no daylight in that match-up with the Miami Heat, as a matter of fact Crawford was completely shut-down in that game. Jordan ended up with only 5 points(2-of-12), 6 assists, 1 rebound and 3 steals. Jordan then comes right back the next night against the Atlanta Hawks and posted a triple-double, having scored 27 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds. The quality players always find a way to get back on track and Crawford fits into that category. Look for Jordan to cause ‘lights out’ tonight against the Pistons as I’ll expect at the least a double-double from JC.
Projection: 18 pts / 7 ast / 10 reb / 2 stl
Brandon Knight PG Detroit Pistons ($11,675) Do not, I repeat, do not make the big mistake of not starting Knight tonight. He is coming off a horrible showing on Wednesday night when he went up against the Raptors. However, if you follow this column then you’re well aware of what I plan to do here and that is to start him. Always concentrate on bounce-backs from the good players, they never disappoint. After struggling with his shot on Wednesday (1-of-10 from the floor) there’s now no place to go but up. Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt and say that Wednesday was an off shooting night. (Which even the best are entitled to.)
Projection: 17 pts / 7 ast / 5 reb / 2 stl
Klay Thompson SG Golden State Warriors ($12,228) I’ve been riding Thompson in my line-ups for awhile and have no reason to stop anytime soon. Thompson’s price seems as though it hasn’t truly moved since opening day. Bizarre. As consistent as Klay can be, I’ll expect a surge in his fantasy point production in this meeting tonight with the Charlotte Kemba’s. Thompson faced them over a week ago but since then has sported a slightly higher stat line. Klay will get his tonight as he’ll be shadowed all night by Taylor. Klay’s not intimidated and neither am I. You simply can’t walk away from that price tag.
Projection: 18 pts / 4 ast / 7 reb / 1 blk / 2 stl
Jason Terry SG Boston Celtics ($7,459) It’s about time someone listened to me. After all the effort and energy in regards to my complaining, Rivers has finally gotten it. Terry was inserted into the starting lineup Wednesday night because “he needs to be on the floor with a point guard that can get him the ball,” according to Boston head coach Doc Rivers, the Associated Press reports. So what was the final outcome on Wednesday? Terry was solid scoring 15 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds and 1 steal in the 35 minutes that he saw on the court. Now with Rivers finally listening to me, it’s safe to say that starting Terry in your line-up tonight will do nothing but help. Jason faced these Bucks thrice already and posted solid numbers each time. For his price you will not find more value at the SG position tonight.
Projection: 17 pts / 4 ast / 3 reb / 1 blk / 3 stl

Clik here to view.Paul George SF Indiana Pacers ($16,497) George rips apart the Cavs as a hobby. Evidently, collecting stamps got old real fast for Paul. In the earlier meeting a week ago Paul crushed Cleveland and never looked back. In that meeting George posted up 27 points, 3 assists and 7 rebounds all while logging in 35 minutes of floor time. Look for a Yogi Berra “It’s deja vu’ all over again” play as George will attack the Cavs again only this time his stat line will be a bit higher. He’s gonna go berserk on the Cavs tonight!
Projection: 28 pts / 5 ast / 10 reb / 2 blk / 2 stl
Harrison Barnes SF Golden State Warriors ($7,437) Keep in mind that I’m banking on Barnes starting and logging in at least 25 minutes of start time tonight and this pick could be tricky. Barnes needs to pick up his production because in his last two games he’s been anything but hot. Here is a spot that could explode into fantasy point Heaven or explode right into our faces. After posting five fantasy points on Tuesday, Barnes came right back on Wednesday and tallied four fantasy points, not good. By taking this pick it’ll either be feast or famine but sometimes you need a serious sleeper play to make all the difference. Walk out onto that tight-rope and start him. Dirt cheap price tag as well.
Projection: 11 pts / 2 ast / 6 reb / 1 blk / 2 stl
Shawn Marion PF Dallas Mavericks ($12,620) If you are in need of a PF who will not bust your roll and be consistent with his daily production, then there should be no reason that you wouldn’t’ grab Marion. His price tag has been stagnant and has hardly moved since the season started. Actually, it’s quite low given the fact that Shawn can go ballistic at any given time, Marion faces the high-flying Grizzlies in which should be a good game. At least for Marion it will be. Shawn’s most recent stats versus the Grizzlies are solid. In Shawn’s last meeting with Memphis he posted up 12 points, 3 assists, 11 rebounds and 3 steals. He’ll average this out tonight easily, anything more will just be gravy.
Projection: 16 pts / 5 ast / 10 reb / 1 blk / 2 stl
Thaddeus Young PF Philadelphia 76ers ($14,028) Young is as reliable as they come. It seems as though it’s almost impossible for him to have a bad game. In Thad’s last five games he’s averaging 17.5 points (at a 52.1 percentage rate) and 7 rebounds and that’s his average. Thad will step up his production tonight when he’ll be playing the Hawks. I’m confident that Young will post-up an above average stat line tonight. Thad will have Josh Smith on him but that won’t affect Young’s destiny to bring home the bacon – fantasy production bacon that is!
Projection: 16 pts / 5 ast / 8 reb / 2 blk / 2 stl
Bismack Biyombo C Charlotte Bobcats ($9,073) I don’t know if it’s me or what. But every time I hear this guy’s name I think of a magician. “The Amazing Biyombo”. In all honesty I’ll be looking for a magic trick here. Listen, you’ve got to start him. Hump Day night he had a real crappy outing logging in only 21 minutes and only grabbing 2 points and 2 rebounds (to the Suns, no less). Ouch. Bismack has been putting in starter minutes and he’ll start again tonight. Look for a bounce-back performance here and we’ll just chalk up that game as an ‘off’ night.
Projection: 11 pts / 1 ast / 9 reb / 3 blk / 1 stl
Chris Kaman C Dallas Mavericks ($10,154) I’ve mentioned this before and although it won’t change my opinion on my choice in taking Kaman tonight but I have to be honest. This guy’s photo scares the hell out of my ferrets. Well, with that out of the way let’s look towards what Chris has to offer us tonight. Kaman is a player who definitely has the skills to produce double-doubles on a nightly basis, yet has only registered two this season. Chris’s last DD was exactly one month ago, to the day. I’ll have to start Kaman in this spot. If you read this column then you know that I put emphasis on 3 things, good players bouncing back from lackluster performances, player’s chances of obtaining double-doubles, and good players who are due for a break out game. Check off Chris in all three of those categories tonight as he’ll produce one of his best games to date. Don’t over think this (I occasionally do and it only winds up with me downing about 6 Advils, not worth it!); just start him.
Projection: 19 pts / 2 ast / 7 reb / 2 blk
